Lt Gen P.S. Mehta

Lt Gen P.S. Mehta’s career is a blend of outstanding academic brilliance, pioneering leadership, strategic insight—especially on Kashmir—and top-tier recognition in the form of AVSM and VSM. His journey from Kashmir to one of the Indian Army’s highest ranks makes him a figure of inspiration and historic importance.


Former Commander of T 90 Armoured Brigade, GOC 31 Armoured Division and GOC 21 Corps (Strike).  He was assigned the role  of Deputy Director General Military Operations post National Defence College. He also headed the Tri Services Department as Deputy Chief Integrated Defence Staff - DCIDS (DOT) responsible For the Doctrines, Operations and Training of Tri Services.
